A team from the Independent Company Policing Environment conducted an operation in Limoeiro in the afternoon of Saturday (17) and discovered an illegal slaughter of animals in a farm town.
The owner, Ana Maria de Souza, 54, better known as Dona Rosa's Slaughterhouse, marketed armadillo meat ball. Dona Rosa provided the meat illegal for butchers in the area of North Forest and Market Drowned and the Yellow House.
Also found on the farm a rifle, two caliber rifle ammunition 36 and 31 tails armadillo ball, a raw armadillo meat in the refrigerator of the accused, plus a live armadillo, which would be consumed in the coming days by Dona Rosa, who is also hunter.
The accused was taken to the police station Limoeiro, which was issued a Term Circunstaciado Occurrence and Ana Maria testified and was released to address environmental crimes in freedom. The armadillo was returned alive to nature.
